Zoë’s Place provides palliative, respite and end-of-life care to babies and infants


National Portage Association

Portage is a home-visiting educational service for pre-school children with additional support needs and their families. The National Portage Association (NPA) is national charity, supporting Portage services, families and professionals involved in Portage.


Daisy Chain

Daisy Chain provides a range of support services to children and adults affected by autism, either with a diagnosis or who are undergoing the diagnostic process, their parents/carers and their siblings living in a TS or DL postcode area.


Remembering Rebecca

A registered charity in memory of Rebecca Sands who gained her angel wings, aged 21 months, in August 2010. The charity offers financial assistance to children, from birth to 16 years, with Lissencephaly and other neurological conditions.



SNAPS (Special Needs Activities with Parents Support) are a parent led, well established support group. We were formed in 1999 by a group of parents / carers of young people with various disabilities / complex and additional needs which provides term and holiday activities for the whole family with a child or young person 0 - 25 years old with special or additional needs in the Tees Valley area.


Home Start

Home-Start is a local community network of trained volunteers and expert support helping families with young children through their challenging times. We are there for parents when they need us the most because childhood can’t wait.

Family Fund

The Family Fund mission is to provide items and services to all low-income families in the UK raising disabled or seriously ill children, that they could not otherwise afford or access, and that help improve their quality of life, realise their rights, and remove some of the barriers they face. They provide grants for a wide range of items.


Prader-Willi Syndrome Association UK

An Association dedicated to Curing the challenges of life with Prader-Willi Syndrome and whose mission statement is that "Every person living with or affected by PWS has access to the same high level of good quality care, opportunity and support, and the people delivering care, opportunity, support and research towards a cure have the knowledge, training, resource and support to do so in order to cure the challenges of life with PWS".
